    OUCH!
At least you know it was not an Aussie or NZ backpacker stealing it!
Good luck in retrieving the car, although so often it is better if the car is replaced by the insurance company once these vandals have been attacking it.

    yeahh, it was a backpacker-campervan ^^
but as it wasn't insured my cook-island holidays are gone as well...
but hey, at least nobody was hurt and most of my possessions are still mine :)

    Hi,

Sorry to hear about the van getting boosted.

There are so many of those don't be surprised if someone just got into the wrong one and drove off, there after all, isn't much of a market for them for spares if you don't own a fleet of the horrible things.

naa, was planned, they phoned the owners of the hostel if they're at home and as it was there for some weeks. Was a Mazda Bongo, which is a Scrapparts Model here -.

Its a big weekend for Rugby fans. Who is going to the Final?

You have an all North game, France v Wales. Then follows an all South match, NZ v Aussie.

All I can say is.... Rydyn ni gyd yn Gymry nawr.

(Sorry, I had to learn Welsh at school, it means 'We are all Welsh now')

    Hi Fish,
I find it a pity they worked it out like this: Southern Hemisphere and then Northern Hemisphere.
Doesn't work for me, because of course, I want the Wallabies to win.
BUT if not then the All Blacks to win!
This way it has to be the Wallabies!!!
I reckon a Wallaby v Wales final (I think I already posted that).

Anyway, here we are, a few beverages nearby waiting for the Haka!

    GO WALLABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I rode my Suzuki around Oz, you had some siily long names for your towns.

I bet you can't beat this one.

Llanfairpwllgwygllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilogogogoch, which is just a small Train Station.

Yep, I think a mix of North and Southern styles would be a more interesting play-offs. Heck, you can't plan it that way though.

You will have time for quite a few frosties before you see either in action as the first semi is Wales v France and Sunday is NZ v The Neighbours

    Hi Mate.
Aware its the Welsh V France, no harm in starting the frosties early!
BTW, I am up at 5 a.m tommorrow, the marlin have come in early as well as some V BIG yellow fin. So hope I can manage the day for a 6 pm Wallaby win Sunday.

    Hi,

Just sat down to watch it and see the French have the ref on the payroll as he sends off the Welsh Captain for what doesn't appear to be an offence that warrants a red card.

I would not be surprised to see similar tactics tomorrow on the field.

Good luck with the fishing tomorrow. I am looking forward to the next time I can get my gear out and do some myself.

    Hi,

To the same match up as 1987 as the AB's have just put Australia away for 2011.

The Green & Golds never really got into gear. The ABs, on the other hand, looked OK but only just OK. I guess that's Cup Rugby.

Well done the Kiwis and just remember, I love garlic snails. Bora da. :D
