I would like to try and start with a gelcoat course as offered by Proboat online...
Are these courses any good, has anyone here ever tried them up?
I already know how to do some basic gelcoat repair, but as in doing things that one enjoys I would like to improve my skills in this department.

Hope to get some feedback before deciding for this

DK if this course is good or bad, but gel-coating is really an art as you've probably found. Education is always a good thing, but hands on is the best teacher with things like this. There are a lot of people in different areas of this industry who have plenty of book knowledge. They can talk a good game, but I wouldn't trust them. So, if the money doesn't bother you and you've got time go for it, but also do an apprenticeship with someone.

Thanks for the feedback NYCAP. Yes that is what I think.

I wonder if anyone here ever did some Proboat courses, even from the other classes and how they found them. Would like to get some feedback, before deciding.
