HI, I just wanted to figure out what the going wage is for a Captain and Mate to run a 75' MY in a charter situation with guests on board in South Florida. This is for just a Captain and Mate, there is no other crew on-board. A typical day would be making breakfast at 7am, running the boat from 8:30am- 7pm with a typical days activities of trolling/fishing till 1pm, barbequeing lunch, serving drinks, anchoring and snorkeling, then sightseeing and getting into the dock at 7pm, then barbequeing dinner and serving drinks until ohhh 11pm sometimes 1am this also includes cleaning up after everyone, fixing items that are broken and sleeping on-board the vessel. Every day the guests are on-board it is a similar routine. The trips could be either a 3 day weekend or 7 days. This group never tips, or if they do it's very little. Please, only answers from experienced owners and qualified crew. What is the proper daily pay for a Captain in this situation? What is the proper daily pay for a Mate in this situation?
