I am ready to put in and am concerned about proper hull lifting technique.
Where should the straps be placed? There were some standoffs on the boat that had rubber bumpers on them. I am not sure if they are used for lifting.

1969 38' Roamer Regal, updated with 454's w/closed loop cooling.

The is no real rule about where the straps shoul be placed, you best bet would be to place one strap just aft of the engine but forward of the stuffing box and the forward strap shoul go on a bulkhead just under the windshield just make sure you don't place them on a transducer. I am not real familiar with Roamers but these are general rules of thumb.
