Post 42' Speed

    I am looking at a 42' Post late 70's model with 6-71naturals 310hp can this boat realistically cruise at 18 to 19 knots. Great site once again.

    I owned a 1981 42 Post with 671 ti 450's. That boat would cruise an honest 23 knots (bimini, no hard top). With the 310 HP N's, she should do 18 or 19 I would guess.
