Galileo G has been launched and looks pretty good. One thing I do not like, though, is that the superstructure is just too small. I noticed this upon seeing Exuma in person but it is not as much of a problem with her as she is 5m shorter. I think Galileo G would look better with an elongated bridge deck and, perhaps, a sun deck. I guess that is the idea with the Vitruvius range but, if you look at their three mockups for a 62m yacht, the 'Helios' and 'Major' versions look a lot better. http://www.perininavi.it/en/fleet/motor-yachts/picchiotti-explorer-62m
Received the offshore shot from Perini yesterday, attached to this PR... http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/p...iotti-vitruvius-55m-galileo-g-superyacht.html
If her interior looks anything like what Luca Dini depicts on their website, I think "Galileo G" will be quite something! Look in the projects section ; Perini Navi, then Vitruvius 55. www.lucadinidesign.com
Oh that is a nice improvement design wise from the 50m Codecasa! A new website for the 73m successor is comming soon...
I posted the 9.5-meter main tender to her in the MegaYachts Tenders II thread in the Tenders forum...this morning.
I'm a big fan of her. As mentioned earlier, I can't wait for her new website to be launched (see link below). She is one of the few yachts out there using pod propulsion. I'm interested to see if there will be any headaches with the system. M/Y Grace E
The old Talon has been refitted as a charter yacht based in the Galapagos. Based on the deck plan, the old bridge deck lounge is now another stateroom, and the old master stateroom area has been converted to 3 separate staterooms. http://www.stellamarisyachtcharters.com/The-Yacht
The first build in the Picchiotti Vitruvius line was a 50-meter vessel called "Exuma"...built in 2010. She kept that name for a while but currently she carries the name "Falco Moscata".
