I just got my oil test results back, Starboard is perfect with 2400 hrs. The Port side, not so perfect. Seems I have a couple of elevated elements. I've attached the report, hopefully someone will have a valid explanation and starting point.

What really bothers me is this engine has 400hours on a full inframe rebuild.

    Look at your BORON level.
You have a different oil in that engine and it is not a straight 40W/CF-2 oil.

Has it been 3 years since you've changed the oil? If so that is a very long time, it should be changed annually. The levels are fairly normal IMO for 150 hours and 3 years on the oil, copper and iron is pretty normal at 20 and leads me to believe motors sat for weeks and weeks between being run at some point in time with boat in water. As Capt Ralph mentioned, you SHOULD have 40W/CF2 oil in the motor, I like Mobil delvac. I really don't start to worry unless either of those values are over 50 PPM.

Boron is an additive to multi grade (W) oils and snake oils,, is my concern.
    It's not from engine wear.
