Vicem Completes 82 Custom Yacht

The newest addition to the Vicem line up has now been completed. The vessel comes in the form of the Vicem 82 Custom. Vicem advertises their largest in the Classic series as the Vicem 80 but this 82 is a custom-built creation that is actually closer to 83-feet in length. (25.1-meters). The 82 can sleep up to six (6) guests in three (3) cabins appointed with their own ensuite facilities and thanks to a comfortable 6.19-meter beam, the accommodations are ample and spacious. Mahogany veneer work is applied around the interior to exude that classic feel. The inspiration afterall is from classic Downeast boats.

"We designed her as a perfect blend of the client’s needs, who requested a premium cruising yacht with the ultimate in accommodation and with the finest luxury finishes. In addition, this yacht offers owners the flexibility to captain the vessel themselves, or a small crew to live and work onboard in safety and style." One of the popular and best used areas on the exterior is the flybridge area. It is spacious and has generous seating areas and it is perched highest on the vessel offering good views of the surroundings. It can also be covered with a soft bimini top. Al fresco dining, bar, sunpad and secondary navigation station are all on this deck.

Performance is attributed to her pair of Volvo Penta 900 horse power engines which assure a top speed in the region of 17.8-knots. Around 9-10-knots allows for an 1,100 nautical mile range however, swifter cruising is much faster at 15-knots. Construction is actually in cold-moulded Mahogany which is a process that a few builders use on their builds. The Vicem 82 custom is anticipated to make her debut at the 2022 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
