  1. 23-meter "Joy" Delivered By Van der Valk
Luxury yacht "Joy" has been delivered. Not to be confused with the Feadship "JOY" built in 2016 this yacht is also Dutch-built but much smaller, 23-meters LOA. Joy belongs to the flybridge range of yachts from Van der Valk and is the latest in that series. The flybridge is quite extensive for a 76-foot yacht and certainly will be a focal point of the owner's and guests enjoyment onboard.
  2. Power is by a pair of Volvo Penta IPS800s which offer great practicality and maneuverability with its joy-stick controls. What is different and unusual is the RINA classification for recreational craft. This is seldom seen on a 23-meter yacht that will not be used for chartering. It was a special request by the owner to ensure the highest safety standards and enhance her commercial resale value.
  3. Onboard there is accommodation for owner and guests in four cabins. The owner has a full beam master suite while the guests will have a VIP-grade cabin, twin and a double. Each cabin has its own ensuite bathrooms for convenience and privacy. The decor onboard is done to contemporary styling with Zebrano and Pennsylvanian Walnut.
  4. The owner is an experienced person in the marine field since they come from a shipbuilding background and therefore was precise in what they wanted for the yacht. Even though their schedule did not permit for regular visits to the yard to view the build, the owner trusted Van der Valk to come through. The yard regularly kept the client fed with build updates and photos of the vessel as it progressed through construction to finishing.
