Turkish builder Turquoise Yachts is building ever larger yachts and the latest is called Project 'Vento', an 87-meter superyacht with H2 Yacht Design. Of course this is not the first time H2 Yacht Design has worked with Turquoise Yachts. In fact, this is their ninth collaboration having first collaborated 17 years ago. At 285-feet long this vessel stretches around 13-meters across, creating numerous opportunities to add true superyacht amenities onboard. One of those features is the large pool on the aft main deck measuring 21-feet (6.5-meters) long. This pool is all-glass, side walls and naturally has a glass bottom which serves to filter natural light to the expansive beach club facility directly below. Turquoise yachts suggests this area will be something special, rivaling 100-meter superyachts own similar spaces.

The design of this yacht has some classic undertones to it with gill and louvered features penned amidships on the superstructure as well as the aft facing overhangs. The classic blue color hull is nice, not quite the flag/nautical blue we are accustomed to but a special formulation called 'Tour de France Blue'. Another feature onboard is a drive in tender garage.

In terms of accommodation, guest lodging is located on the main deck while the owner's domain is on the upper deck. A bit odd for all the guest accommodation to be on the main deck but hopefully this translates into larger cabin spaces for the crew. The foredeck is home to a touch-and-go helipad and when the helicopter isn't around, the deck space can be transformed for a game of basketball. The sundeck has an al-fresco style outdoor cinema for a different guest experience. Project Vento is expected to launch in 2024.
