Princess Yachts Y95 Unveiled In Cannes

British builder Princess Yachts joined the queue of companies unveiling new models and showing off their latest to the industry at the Cannes Yachting Festival for 2019. The Y95 is one of the new models from the UK builder and is now the top of the 'Y' range. One of the interesting aspects about it is a wave-piercing bow. While the vessel is not in existence yet the first hull in the Y95 model is expected to be completed by 2021.

The design is a collaboration between Olesinski and Pininfarina with Princess. The Y95 is encroaching on the interior volume of the Princess 30-meter yacht with a slightly smaller overall footprint. A five cabin layout is onboard with four cabins on the lower deck for guests including two doubles and two twins. The master suite is on the forward main deck and full-beam in nature.

Princess managed to fit a cosy small beach club in the transom area, a region which should see some use by guests straight off the swim platform. Performance can be expected with a 26-knot top-end using twin MAN V12-2000s. The 95-foot yacht features a beam of 22.3-feet and a draft of 6.5-feet with a full fuel load is 13,400 LT Another yacht model of comparable size from Princess Yachts is the X95, from the 'X' line. This yacht is widely anticipated too.
