  1. 64 Long Range By Solaris Power
Solaris has unveiled the first renderings of the under construction Solaris Power 64 Long Range. This is one of their latest additions to the lineup focusing on clean lines, ease of access, voluminous interiors and enhanced exterior experiences with two main social areas on deck. Decent sized walkways on the sides of the yacht provide flow between the foredeck areas and the aft cockpit areas. Nothing revolutionary but welcomed access that encourages ease of flow between the two extreme points of the yacht.
  2. The Solaris Power 64 Long Range comes at a time when the yard showcased its new 70 Long Range model at the boot Düsseldorf show a couple of months ago. The new model is not quite as large but it is giving options to clients who do not want to have a tad-larger platform. Your entry onboard might be at the stern platform and there are a pair of steps that will take you up and into the aft cockpit area. However, this traditional area has been reimagined. Instead of the usual aft bench seating paired with a table, there is a whole zone of comfy seating both facing aft and forward. However, the primary focus is views off the aft of the yacht. Thus, there is a huge cantilevered sunpad region overlooking the transom. A pair of L-shaped sofas face aft and are joined by smaller cocktail tables which underscores this area's use as a relaxing zone rather than the traditional al-fresco dining.
  3. One deck up, on the flybridge there is more of the same relaxing theme. Sunbeds and bench seating paired with table are nestled to the port side while a compact station for grilling or drinks storage is on the starboard side. The secondary helm area is up front providing the captain with all-encompassing views. Below deck are where the cabins are situated and there is a three cabin layout with the master cabin midships taking the full beam. A VIP is towards the bow and a twin cabin sandwiched between these two cabins.
  4. The 64 Long Range comes in at just under the 20-meter mark...19.7-meters overall to be exact. There is a maximum beam of 5.62-meters which helps contribute to the yacht's decent volume package for its size. 1.75-meters mark the yachts full draft as well. Expected performance depends on which engines are onboard. It appears the standard engines will be a pair of Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1200. These likely will permit a 26-knot top end. The optional Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350s will get the boat to the 28-knot top speed. With the latter, a cruising speed of 18-knots can be expected.
