News: Silver Yachts Deliver 85M "Wanderlust"

The 85-meter superyacht that was under construction and launched as 'Globalfast' has now completed sea trials and has been delivered to her owner. According to AIS-derived data, the vessel has been given its final name and is now called "Wanderlust". At this point the vessel is still in Australia. Wanderlust is a near sister to the first hull (named "BOLD") in the Silver Loft concept but there are a few differences and the easiest one to note right away is the paint work.

In late August to early September, this second hull made its partial appearance in the open after the yard partially rolled it out of the shed in preparation for launching. Instantly, the white hull and superstructure along with black accents all around separated her from the military grey finish seen on BOLD. According to Silver Yachts, the internal volume of Wanderlust is 1,561 GT which allows for comfortable living for her eighteen guests and approximately 21 crew. There are 7 cabins for the owner and their guests. A pair of MTU diesels are onboard and can supply her with a fast cruising speed of 18-knots or flat-out at 23-knots. Her length is 85.3-meters with a beam of 11-meters and a draft of 2.30-meters. Wanderlust was started on speculation and was only sold in April of this year.
