  1. Riva Unveils 100 'Corsaro' Yacht

The Riva 100 'Corsaro', have you heard of it? Maybe not! It is a new model from the famed Italian yacht manufacturer and they have only recently started releasing information on it. Meanwhile, quietly behind closed doors, the first hull in the line is under construction. That's right, the first unit is being built and has an owner as well! The owner hails from Asia and will have possession of their new model new yacht this year. In fact, Riva is expected to display this yacht at a Riva meeting in Monaco and then at the Cannes Yachting Festival, later this year.
  2. The model name suggests the yacht is a 100-footer but she isn’t quite there and for those who are a stickler for precise measurements, she is actually 98-feet long. This model is intended to allow customers some customization onboard. The owner of this yacht, the first hull, chose to have all accommodation on the lower deck. Their master suite is full beam but located towards the aft. While room was made for two other cabins for guests. Riva envisions a four cabin layout for guests as the more standard variant in accommodation. The interior is awash in natural light, this is especially seen on the main deck where the main saloon, dining area and media room are situated. Blacks, whites and browns play together in this space offering different textures via wood, leather and softer upholstery.
  3. A nice feature onboard is in the garage. A new operating system exclusively patented by Ferretti Group allows the garage door to open and tilt down onto the beach area, creating a large beach club at water level. Once the door is over the platform, it automatically aligns and then lowers diagonally under the water together with the central part of the platform. In this way, the garage is flooded to launch or haul out the tender (up to 4.45 meters long) and jet-ski. The Riva 100 Corsaro is a flybridge yacht offering plenty space for a couple loungers, loose furniture and dedicated seating as well as the fixed secondary helm station.
