  1. First Bering 107 Build Progress Update
The first Bering 107 is well underway in construction and YF is reporting back to you with an update on how the build is going so far. In January YF alerted you to the start of construction on this vessel; https://www.yachtforums.com/threads/news-bering-b107-commences-construction.34081/ At that stage the keel had been started but now the steel hull is actively piecing together as can be seen in the below photos from the yard. In fact, the hull was recently turned in its upright position which will now allow the builders to commence initial outfitting of services and welding together of the hull pieces.
  2. With the latest development the first Bering 107 is still on track for completion by the end of Summer 2022. The yacht is presently under construction at the Antalya, Turkey-based facility of Bering Yachts. This yard actually has quite a few models currently under construction. You will find from their model offering the B70, the B76, a B77, a B92, a B117 and two flagship B145 units in the works. The Bering 107 is added to that list and exterior looks wise will be a bit different to what you normally see from Bering. In fact, the B107 has exploration capabilities but the aesthetics of a regular superyacht.
  3. The renderings suggest that the open-air flybridge secondary helm position can be enclosed or left open air should an owner choose that option. Onboard the Bering 107 the interior is being done by in-house allowing the layout to be customizable to the owner's needs. At 33-meters overall with a beam of 7.55-meters and a displacement of 276 tonnes, the B107 is fitted out for serious long-range cruising. The 31,500 liters of fuel provide a range of over 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 9-knots. Three (3) crew cabins plus the captains cabin will be available. For guests, there a second master suite located on the forward main deck position, the owner has the principal master suite on the upper deck located behind the wheelhouse. The other three cabins are on the lower deck. October 2022 should be the completion period for this yacht.
