  1. FLIB 2026; Opening Day

It is Day 1 of the 2026 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). YF will browse through some of the notable names and models that are at the show highlighting their presence or making their show debuts. In terms of superyachts, the largest yacht at the show is the Oceanco "Draak" and at 305-feet long having recently gone through an extensive rebuild to become the support vessel to the Oceanco "Leviathan". She is one of the rare cases where a yacht born to be a superyacht was modified to change roles and act as a support vessel to another superyacht.
  2. Two other larger superyachts at the show include the 223-foot Feadship "Lady Christine". Built back in 2010 featuring Naval Architecture and exteriors by Rodney Black Design Studios, with accommodations for up to 10 guests. Powered by twin MTU engines, Lady Christine has a cruising range of approximately 7,600 nautical miles.
  3. There is also another large Dutch build at the show called "SCOUT". She was manufactured by Hakvoort back in 2019. Known for her heavy but refined explorer appeal thanks to H2 Yacht Design she can take you into colder climes with her Ice-class hull and on adventures up to 4,800 nautical miles. Top speed is around 15.2-knots and as big as she is she generally carries around 10 guests in 5 suites catered to by 21 crew. 63.72-meters in length and a beam of 11.6-meters and a draft of 3.36-meters are her basic dimensions.
  4. The real action is where a number of vessels are making their global or show-specific debuts to the world. Pearl Yachts sit at the top of the pile with their brand new flagship Pearl Yachts 100 Hybrid yacht. This is important because it is the first yacht from the yard to have hybrid propulsion. Not only is it the company's largest vessel but most advanced, thrusting them into the world of greater efficiency and sustainability. The raised pilothouse superyacht combines a hybrid powertrain with five staterooms and expansive outdoor living spaces.
  5. Delta Powerboats has the Delta 72 with a design in collaboration with Mannerfelt Design. The yachts usually feature carbon fiber construction and that is the case with the Delta 72. Light and strong construction that permits performance-type operations with a luxurious platform.
  6. The newest evolution of Prestige's flagship M-Line power catamaran will make its U.S. debut at FLIBS following its world premiere in September. The M8 EVO introduces redesigned living spaces, including an expanded galley with an integrated bar, a full-beam flybridge and an enhanced owner's suite with private access from the main deck.
  7. Making its U.S. debut at FLIBS, the new Navetta 66 from Absolute Yachts emphasizes space, panoramic views and flexibility throughout its three decks. The yacht features expansive glazing, a sheltered cockpit terrace and a large flybridge with modular furnishings designed for dining, navigation and relaxation. While the model name is Navetta 66 the yacht is actually 64.4-feet long with a beam of 18.1-feet. A pair of Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 (2×735 kW) drive this boat GRP-made vessel to high-end speeds of around 27-knots.
  8. If you are attending this year's show you can also look out for the new model from Galeon Yachts - Galeon 570 SKY-. It combines the sporty profile of a hardtop with the functionality of a flybridge. Its concealed upper deck features a full helm and convertible seating, while the available Beach Mode package uses fold-down balconies to create additional space above the water. Twin Volvo Penta shaft-drive packages ranging from twin D11-670 engines (670 horse power each) up to twin D13-900 engines delivering a combined 1,800 horse power.
