  1. Okean 80 FLY Makes A Splash
Okean has its 80 FLYbridge offering and although it is called the Okean 80 FLY the vessel is in actuality 79.5-feet LOA. The beam is just short of 20-feet (19.10-feet) and on a vessel this size the draft barely surpasses the 5-foot mark at 5.1-feet. The overall design of this yacht is by Paolo Ferragni and they have implemented very friendly dimensions which allow the Okean 80 FLY to access pretty much anywhere her owner want's to take her. One of the popular features of Okean yachts is the folding balconies/bulwarks, similar to their 50X Explorer design.
  2. Okean isn't the only builder who is offering boats with fold-down bulkwarks. However, it is becoming such an integral part of their design that it is almost signature -although it is hardly original-. The folding bulwarks are back on the new Okean 80 FLY providing more room on the main side decks to lounge at anchor. Secondarily, it provides a lovely view out for the salon region of the vessel. Those bulwarks are independent of each other meaning one can be left flush and upright while the other can be folded down based on the views or privacy needed. To complement this feature the salon has sliding glass windows/doors to allow for cross ventilation and unhindered views.
  3. Power will come via a pair of MAN V12s rated at 1,550 horse power each. These engines on the 147,710 lbs displacement vessel feed from a tank capacity of around 1,518 GAL or around 5,750 LT of fuel. The Four cabins are onboard with the capacity for as many as eight guests. The accommodation is on the lower deck with the master suite midships and taking up the full-beam. There is a VIP V-berth in the bow as well as a twin-arranged room and a bunk-style cabin. Extensive glazing is utilized throughout the boat and the lower deck cabins benefit from this. The Okean 80 FLY is the largest offering from this yard at present but the yard suggests that between the 50-foot and 80-foot range they are looking to plug it with a new vessel they are working on now, the Okean 68 widebody. That yacht should be coming in 2023.
