  1. 88 Classic King Explorer By Ocean King Yachts
Ocean King Yachts is showcasing a new design for an 88-foot explorer yacht they are calling the Classic King. The yard already launched an 88-foot Ocean King yacht already called "Irie Man" but this new design has emphasis on the word 'Classic'. The lines are definitely more sleek and rounded on the new 88 design and appears to have more emphasis on being aesthetically pleasing on the eye. Basically the idea was to give an explorer yacht with the same ruggedness but with the appeal and finish of a superyacht. "We have listened to our customers. We know they now want a rugged explorer with long range but with superyacht exterior finish and interior,” commented Alberto Ballarin of Ocean King.
  2. It will be a pedigree vessel with long range capability. Does 8,000 nautical miles at a continuous 8-knots whet your appetite? This is all expected to be done while consuming just 36 LT per hour. Onboard there is accommodation envisioned for the crew on the forward lower deck while guests are expected to have four cabins aft towards midships. The full-beam master suite is naturally located on the forward main deck. Other than this part of the vessel, all decks have sheltered walk-around side decks which provides ease of access and less headache for the crew.
  3. The design is by VYD Studio alongside Ocean King's designers. You will find an LOA of 26.6-meters with a beam of 7.5-meters. Guests and owner will be able to traverse four decks that are available above the waterline. The highest deck hosts a jacuzzi, sunpad area, sofa and open deck for loungers. The aft upper deck below that has open space too and can set out loungers when the 6-meter tender and toys are put in the water. Al fresco dining to seat all guests onboard at once is provided. Two sun padded areas are also provided on the bow, easily accessible via the Portuguese bridge and through the central opening in the bulwark. This displacement explorer would be built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
