  1. More Information On 84R From Ocean Alexander

The spotlight has been on the 90R from builder Ocean Alexander since the industry got wind of it a few years ago and through its build and premiere last year in Fort Lauderdale. The 84R as you would expect will follow similar attention when she debuts at the 2019 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). The 84R though will offer a different experience to the client and guests. The interior alone is quite different from the 90R and it needed to be to differentiate itself from her larger sibling.
  2. Accommodation is going to be all on the lower deck and for up to eight guests with the master suite midships on the lower deck being full-beam in nature. The large inserts of glazing helps make the room feel larger than it is and certainly will allow the principle guest or owner onboard to have stunning views from their cabin as depicted below. There are certain elements that the client can control and have choice with on the 84R. For example, the choosing of the stone, the wood, to how satin or high-gloss it is, or to have lacquered materials. The indoor skylounge is also available or it can be optional and you go instead with an open flybridge with a hard-top. The owner has some choice when they select the 84R from Ocean Alexander.
  3. In terms of performance, the OA84R is going to be powered by a pair of MAN V12 1650s. As this is the second yacht in their new 'Revolution' series expect decent performance from these MAN powerplants across the spectrum. We still do not know what the top-end speed is going to be. The OA90R topped out with a top-end of 27.2-knots using more powerful -optional- MTU 16V 2000s (2600HP) and the OA84R is going to be run by 1650 HP MAN V12s so this should give a better idea. The OA84R is 25.35-meters LOA and has a beam of 6.29-meters.
