Nordhavn has been quietly but swiftly working on the second hull in the new Nordhavn N80 model. While all the attention was on the first hull (8001) which had a sandy-yellow hull that made its debut back in 2021 at FLIBS. 8002 arrived at Dana Point, CA after being offloaded from a Heavy Lift freighter in Ensenada, MX. It is easily recognizable from the first specimen with its hull color being more subdued featuring a light mocha finish contrasting with the white superstructure.

The second N80 also differs vastly from the first on the interior too. The first hull's interior focused on contrasting darker wood paneling with light fabrics and upholstery. The second hull has a much lighter feel to the interior as you can see below with a airy tones and some dazzle created by the stone work in the right places. It really is almost the opposite to the first hull but Nordhavn stresses that there is some customization allowed with the N80. They can design the interior themselves, or you the owner can bring on your own designer. They are also working with Vripack so there are different possibilities when it comes to the interior layout.

Layout options including captain’s cabin behind the bridge or upper level owner’s suite behind the bridge instead of having the regular sky lounge in the same area. PAE offers standard luxurious interior finishes or buyers may choose to work with their own designer, including renowned Dutch design and architecture firm, Vripack, which has created specifically for the N80, beautiful homey designs that skew 'Scandi-comfy-chic'. The N80 slots in perfectly between the N86 and the N76 for small family liveaboards who want to broaden their horizons.

Hull 2 will have option to store tenders on the foredeck where there is a crane, or equally a smaller tender or PWC can be stored on the aft bridge deck which is also served by a crane. The owner will enjoy the jacuzzi on the flybridge and as the name suggests there is a secondary helm position here other than the wheelhouse.
