  1. 80-meter Project 'Artefact' By Nobiskrug
German yard Nobiskrug is presently working on the 80-meter Hull 790 or project 'Artefact'. The environmentally-friendly explorer type cruising superyacht is progressing in build and the yard has released new renders of the yacht. One thing that is highlighted is the immense use of glass onboard. Nobiskrug says that approximately 223 pieces of glass will be used on the structure of the yacht.
  2. The design of project Artefact is by Gregory C Marshall while the interior is by Reymond Langton design. The exterior is perhaps will have people talking with the busy glass design incorporated into the hull and superstructure. The design of this yacht was actually for a 55-meter build but while working with the owner, Marshall, the size and complexity of the yacht grew.
  3. While details regarding the interior are still being kept quiet by the yard we know that diesel-electric propulsion setup with ABB is onboard. This is going a long way into helping Project Artefact meet IMO Tier III emissions regulations. The yacht will feature a type of dynamic positioning system (DPS) to be able to fix the vessel in place without the need to drop anchor. Artefact will be finished in 2019 and make her debut at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
