News: New GTX80 Model Revealed

News recently breaking of another model being added to the GTX line of Pershing. The GTX line has been around for a few years now but just with the line-starter, the GTX116. In fact the third hull in the GTX116 model just launched a few days ago and is called "Byeee". The second GTX model will be the GTX80, a 24-meter yacht that will be formally presented at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

Triple Volvo Penta engines will run the new yacht to a top speed of 34-knots and cruise at 28-knots providing that signature 'Pershing' performance. More on this vessel will be released later in the year but we know it will have accommodation for eight guests in four cabins and provision for quarters for two crew members. Below we can see an example of how the master suite onboard maybe completed.

The main saloon has big windows on either side giving a sense of space and continuity to the interior. Low-profile seating are strategically placed to minimize the impact on external views. The yacht is showcased with a galley-up design where the galley is integrated into a bar spreading towards the aft saloon and interacting with the aft cockpit area.

On this style of yacht there is no traditional beach club but there is definitely a social area by the water on the transom. The renders suggest that the aft stern bulwarks can fold downwards towards the water to increase the space of the area. The aft-most portion of the deck is actually the stern platform and this can be manipulated in a few ways. It can stay in the 'fixed' position, it can be lowered into the water to aid in launching and recovery of a small tender or it can be raised. A single staircase takes guests from the aft cockpit to the sundeck where 23 square meters of space awaits them.
