  1. Wrap-Up News Of The Monaco Yacht Show
The 2025 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) came to a close on Saturday 27th of September however, there are still many news stories that evaded 'radar' on the respective show days. In this article YF looks back and covers them. Hydrotec unveiled a 35-meter design called Project 'Vagrant'. 53-meter Bilgin NB97 was sold at the show. The 55-meter Project "Agnetha" from Heesen was also sold at the show despite the yacht not attending the show. Benetti announced the sale of the second B.Now 72 (with Oasis Deck). Benetti also has expanded the B.Loft range with the announcement of the B.Loft 58. A 61-meter fully custom yacht from Tankoa Yachts has also been sold.
  2. Designer HydroTec used the Monaco Yacht Show's 2025 edition to unveil a new project for a pocket explorer-style yacht called 'Vagrant'. The yacht is on a 35-meter hull with a 7.6-meter beam and a draft just under 2.99-meters. This vessel is not under construction but a presentation of a ready-to-build design. It is envisioned for the yacht to be conventionally powered but there is the possibility for hybrid propulsion. They expect a top speed of around 13-knots clearly focusing on efficient cruising.
  3. Bilgin Yachts marked the sale of NB97 at the show this year. She is one of the 52-meter hulls from the yard. The yacht appears to be a sistership of "Camila" that the yard had on display at the show this year. With an internal volume of 499 GT, she will offer the maximum volume available without transitioning over the 500 GT threshold. The exterior of the steel hull and aluminium superstructure NB97 is by Unique Yacht Designs while the interior is by Hot Lab. 55,000 LT fuel-capacity will ensure her decent range overall.
  4. Dutch builder Heesen did not have Project Agnetha at the show but they were actively trying to get her sold and they did! The yacht last known to have left the shipyard and was fitted with high-end furnishings and accessories to give potential clients a view of what the yacht looks like totally complete. She was in the South of France. Agnetha is one of the yard's 55-meter builds and was recently completed but still available for purchase. She was built as hull 20955 by the yard. 5. The second hull of the B.Now 72 model from Benetti has been sold as announced by the yard at the show. This hull will also have the Oasis Deck at the stern. The B.Now 72 is the largest in the B.Now range from the yard. Despite being a larger yacht the exterior is still refined and elegant thanks to the work of the RWD studio. “The sale of a new 72-meter yacht and the presentation of two new models that enrich the B.Now and B.Loft families confirm our dynamism and ability to bring continuous evolution, new features and new trends to the large custom yacht market," commented Benetti Sales Director Daniela Petrozzi. The yacht has a top speed of 16-knots powered by a pair of CAT marine diesels. She yacht is built from steel for the hull and aluminium for the superstructure.
  6. One of Benetti's other ranges the B.Loft was expanded at the show with the announcement of the B.Loft 58. The yard introduced the B.Loft 65 at last year's edition of the Monaco Yacht Show. Similar to the B.Now and Oasis Deck models with the Oasis Deck, the B.Loft can have a similar set up to the stern area. However, on the B.Loft model, the yard calls this the 'Cabana'. The yard reimagines the the traditional beach club space on superyachts in this segment. With the terrace wings deployed the platform area measures 15.5-meters wide offering immense space in the area on a 58-meter. The B.Loft 58 features design inside and out by Giorgio M. Cassetta.
  7. Tankoa Yachts announced that they sold a fully-custom 61-meter superyacht to an American customer. The client initially was pursuing existing platforms of the yard but then evolved into building a fully-custom project. The design is a collaborative effect combining the owner, Centro Stile and other exterior design work. The yacht is expected to be delivered to the client in February, 2029.
