Project 'Cali' Emerges At Lurssen

German custom superyacht builder Lurssen has launched their latest superyacht in the form of the 82-meter Project 'Cali'. This yacht is a fairly secretive project launching with minimal information about it. Here is what we know so far. The vessel is 82-meters long with an overall beam of 12.5-meters and a comfortable 3.5-meter draft. The following photos are by Tom VanOssanen.

Design-wise the superyacht is penned by Lurssen in-house using their exterior designer Jim Robert Sluijter. They have given the vessel a muted reverse bow as well as long elegant lines overall. The yacht is laid out for a family that loves outdoor activities. It is therefore not surprising that two of the yacht's main features are outdoor areas.

Emphasizing on those exterior areas the spacious beach club on the lower deck opens to both sides with big sea terraces and is connected to a very large swim platform aft. The 30-meter-long sun deck offers a panoramic view and has plenty of space for daytime as well as evening activities. The sun deck features a Jacuzzi, a lounge area, a bar as well as a dining area with barbeque and pizza oven and an outdoor cinema. Although much of the attention so far has been focused on the yacht's exterior, the interior has been designed by British studio RWD. Being launched at this stage of the year, the vessel is anticipated to be ready for delivery in the first quarter of 2024.
