  1. Project Phoenix By Lazzara To Be Unveiled At PBIBS
Lazzara Yachts, well actually Lazzara Ombres Architects as they are called now is going to unveil a new yacht at the upcoming Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) this week. Lazzara dropped off the map for the last couple of years and are now making a strong come back having moved outside of the United States for production. A progress report on the build will be made at the show. What's the mystery yacht they have under wraps? It is called Project 'Phoenix' and of course the name is symbolical of the yard's return to the scene.
  2. Project Phoenix will be a 40-meter all-aluminium build...yes Lazzara and aluminium in the same sentence. South Korean yard GHI and Lazzara Ombres Architects will detail the progress of this new build. The design is very 'sporty' in keeping with some of the appearances we knew from Lazzara before they dropped off of the yachting scene. With the hull already tank-tested with Bill Prince Yacht Design leading that charge in terms of Naval Architecture and some of the other technical aspects, the Phoenix Project should see a 28-knot top speed. Twin MTUs, 12V 4000s to be precise will power project Phoenix.
  3. On the interior, Alexandre Thiriat is responsible for designing the sophisticated concept and bringing it to reality. The below render gives an idea of the concept they are going with utilizing dark Indian Rosewood and light Oak as the forefront timbers. Below render also highlights what the full-beam master suite will be like when completed. Four doubles are on the lower deck while the master suite is on the forward main deck. No buyer has the first hull as yet, construction starts on speculation but it is being offered for $22 million and completion is aimed for 2020. The line up will be offered in 50 and even 70-meter incarnations.
