CPN Shipyard Launches 36.6-meter Explorer Yacht

K-584 is the name of a new explorer yacht that was recently launched in Italy at the CPN Shipyard. The 36.6-meter long vessel was built for an experienced owner. The hull speaks to the exploration duties the yacht will likely undertake with the owner. Specific to the owner's wishes was to have the hull 'bare' with no fairing filler. The hull is still highly reflective but the 'natural' hull perhaps speaks to the type of vessel she is vs a fully faired and perfect hull.

The design of K-584 was by Andrea Vallicelli and finished with a smartly-looking shiny grey hull adorned with a bold red reverse arrow-head. The superstructure is much lighter in color with a matching grey mast to top off the design. Onboard there is an internal volume of just under 300GT with a beam of 7.96-meters. You can expect to find five guest cabins onboard catering to ten persons. Completion of this yacht is expected for the end of July 2020. Top speed of this yacht should be 14-knots using a pair of MAN 715 hp diesels but that will be confirmed on trials. The range of the vessel should be decent too given the type of vessel with an expect 4,200 nautical miles at continuous 10-knots from a full 42,000 LT fuel capacity.
