News: Johnson Yachts Johnson 80 In Build

Another Taiwanese based yard Johnson Yachts has their build cycle going. Johnson Yachts is presently working on the latest Johnson 80 motoryacht. This one is the ninth unit in that particular series from the builder. You will find exterior lines by Dixon Yacht Design and interior design work by Karen Lynn Interior Design.

Onboard there will be accommodation for guests in four cabins. The owner will have a spacious full-beam master suite complete with walk-in wardrobe. Other guest cabins include a VIP and two doubles. "With the proven engineering of the Johnson 80 in place, we can work with the owners to create a yacht with the flexibility to accommodate their needs, whether they wish to entertain friends on board one day or depart for a month-long cruise the next", said Andy Huang, President of Johnson Yachts.

Performance wise the Johnson 80 is always a nippy customer with a top speed in the region of 25-knots. Power will be by a pair of MAN D2842 LE433 marine diesels each with 1,550 horse power. The main bridge is on the main deck but there is also flybridge secondary navigation available which is covered by an extensive hardtop.
