ISA sells An 'Extra' 126 Model

Italian builder ISA has sold another yacht from its new EXTRA line. The EXTRA line consists of yachts from 76-feet up to 126-feet and in between has 86, 93 and 116-foot options. The one sold is a unit from the 126 section and it was sold to a European client. The sale of this new yacht is actually the second from the EXTRA line after the first EXTRA 76 was completed recently.

The design of the EXTRA 126 is by Francesco Guida who is also responsible for the interior. The yacht appears to be arranged over three decks with large internal volume being a key feature. Deck space is still decent onboard with the social area on the bow expected to be a popular gathering place. Sunbeds and C-shaped alcove seating is complemented with two tables to make the area functional for light snacks and cocktails. Twelve guests will be able to sleep in five cabins, that naturally means one of the cabins has pullman berths. Seven crew will also be slept onboard.

Below decks the new owner will find a pair of MAN marine diesels each rated around 1,029 kW. That is enough to run this boat to a 17-knot top speed if needed. She will have a range of approximately 2,500 nautical miles at 12-knots. Of course the range would increase if they sailed slower. By this time next year, the new owner should be near ready to take delivery of their new EXTRA 126.
