  1. A Look Inside The Grand Banks 85
With the first Grand Banks 85 launched, in the water and conducted sea trials, the yard has given some insight into how the interior of this model looks with the release of some renderings. The following renderings may not reflect that of the first hull but it gives an idea as to how the interior of the GB85 model can be done. In fact, Grand Banks suggests that every GB85 is customizable to the owners specification via different layout options and custom alterations.
  2. At present the accommodation layout appears to come in two variants. Eitherway the Grand Banks 85 can sleep up to nine (9) in four (4) cabins depending on the cabin configuration. Below is a look at how the master suite could be finished. It utilizes the 6.7-meter beam of the vessel well offering a king-sized bed, a lounge area, an ensuite bathroom.
  3. Here is a look at the ensuite offering plenty of counter and vanity space as well as shower real-estate. The alternating classic wood look with white finishing that is seen throughout the main interior spaces can be seen replicated in the bathrooms to a great degree. Overall a classic feel with modern touches is the atmosphere that can be achieved with this internal decor scheme.
  4. The galley is located to the fore of the main deck allowing those working in the space to have prime views thanks to the large windows wrapping 180-degree of the space. The galley has everything you expect to have in a kitchen and does not skip the amenities even though she is an 80-foot range vessel. Here too the classic timber finishing is juxtaposed with stone hard surfaces for prep and temporary storage while cooking.
  5. The interior of the Grand Banks 85 is the owners domain and the yard is insistent that the internal spaces are made to fit the owners specification and needs. As the company's new flagship this is important and will go a long way in securing further future sales of this particular model. There is something about a sub 100-foot vessel that gives the impression of a much larger vessel, a testament to good spatial planning and arrangements. The first Grand Banks 85 is anticipated to be delivered later this year.
