Custom CC98 Model Under Construction At Horizon Yachts

An Australian client is waiting to take delivery of a new custom yacht presently under construction at Horizon Yachts. The CC98 is designed for an owner who is a four-time repeat customer of the yard and will combine exterior details found in the E series as well as the spacious and light interior of the FD series. The appearance of the yacht will be interesting as they are reinforcing the roof of the uppermost deck to serve as a landing area for a Robinson class helicopter.The upper deck is also longer than usual.

Up to ten guests can be accommodated in her five cabins. The adventurous yachtsman owner will have the vessel built to handle the aforementioned helicopter as well as a submarine. There are also to be two cranes on the supper decks to handle equipment and tender handling. The submarine is going to be stored on the swim platform. It is alot the owner is packing onboard a 100-foot craft. Power is by a pair of MTU 10V 2000s for traditional means but lithium ion battery banks will be used onboard to power some hotel loading. The yacht is well on course for delivery to the owner in early 2021.
