News: Hatteras Delivers 100 RPH "Optimus"

The last unit in the 100 RPH series from Hatteras Yachts has been delivered to her owner. This yacht is the fifth yacht in this line and is expected to be the last. The series will be replaced by the Hatteras 105 RPH. This unit is slightly different from the standpoint that it is actually not 100-feet long. "Optimus", as she has been christened, is actually a 107-footer owing to her 7-foot cockpit addition at the stern made to support the owner's fishing endeavours.

The blue accent colors on the exterior also form a custom touch. With the yacht now delivered and judging by the photos provided the yacht was handed over in New York. The addition on the stern really does give the 100RPH a distinctive look as we can see in this aft shot below.

The Hatteras 105 RPH though is the new 100 RPH and Hatteras already has the first hull under construction. The 105 RPH will be powered by a pair of CAT C32As and an owner can also choose a higher performance powerplant package. Onboard it will feature accommodation for eight or ten guests, meaning there are two layouts for clients to choose from.
