News: Golden Yachts 78M Superyacht "O'Rea" In Build

Golden Yachts is presently working on a new build. The vessel in focus is a 78-meter superyacht that will be called "O'Rea". The design of this one is a bit different from what you usually get from this builder but it does feature elements from some familiar names. The exterior is Studio Vafiadis while the interior is a collaboration between Vafiadis and Massari. The design is representing perhaps the start of a new direction for Golden Yachts. After all we saw Golden Yachts 88-meter "Project X" which also represented a different look from this yard.

As for O'Rea, she will be a proper four deck -above the waterline- superyacht with her prominent design differentiator being the bow. Golden Yachts' typically all tend to have a traditionally designed flared bow, but O'Rea will feature a plumb bow. Other features one can expect on this build include a Hammam, massage area and Finnish sauna. There are to be two pools onboard with glass inserted bottoms to help filter natural light into the deck beneath them. With over 250 finishes expected to feature inside the yacht, below you can see the direction Massari and Vafiadis will be taking for the interior.

In terms of accommodation, O'Rea will be carrying up to 16 guests in 8 cabins spread across the yacht from the lower, main and upper decks. The master suite will be quite large with a lot of space being devoted to it. On the exterior there will be a touch & go helipad located on the fore deck for added flexibility. Once completed in 2023, the vessel is expected to be available for charter.
