  1. Newest Model From Galeon; Galeon 420 FLY
Galeon has been in the news lately with their latest addition to the lineup with the Galeon 420 FLY. Galeon has made the 420 FLY before so the current model is basically a refresh and an update. Not too long ago they unveiled the design for the Galeon 700 Sky Deck with the residential-style interior. There is now the 420 model, a 14-meter model that makes family cruising comfortable, practical and stylish in the same practice. Not a large yacht it will easily carry you and your small party on cruises with ease.
  2. Below deck there is a two-cabin layout. One room is a full-beam master suite located closer to amidships and given that it is the main room onboard, it has a king berth. Ample storage around the cabin and an ensuite bathroom. There is also more priority to comfort in the headroom afforded in the master suite. The other cabin, a VIP-styled berth also has its own ensuite and accommodates the other 2 guests.
  3. The designation FLY in the model name tells you the vessel has a flybridge. Besides the forward helm position on the port side, the flybridge is geared towards relaxation for the guests who visit the area. The main space is dominated by an L-shaped settee on the starboard side and that goes along with an al-fresco table. There is room for bench seating and a small sun pad forward.
  4. However, no need to fight for the small sunpad on the flybridge as there is a full lay-out pad on the fore deck of the yacht. This area is likely to be utilized most while at anchor but given it is surrounded by railings it likely can be enjoyed while underway at slower speeds. The Galeon 420 FLY has fold-down terraces toward the aft. These not only expand the aft deck spaces on both sides but also opens up to views and access from the main saloon. This feature will likely be only utilized when the vessel is at anchor. In terms of performance, owners have the choice of selecting traditional shaft drives or Volvo Penta DPI sterndrives.
