  1. 47 Gran Turismo Launched By Forte Yachts
The first 47 Gran Turismo has been launched by Forte Yachts. The yacht maybe small but it is described by the manufacturer as a 'mini-superyacht'. "Seeing the Forte 47 Gran Turismo in the water confirms that our vision has become reality. She perfectly expresses our philosophy: distinctive design, tailor-made quality, and uncompromising attention to detail. This is the foundation upon which we will build the future of our brand", said Co-founder, Forte Yachts, Fernando Moricca.
  2. Paolo Giordano of PGYD is responsible for what you witness both on the exterior and the interior. Umberto Tagliavini has formulated the Naval Architecture of the 47 Gran Turismo. This boat is actually outboard powered but looking at the design-lines of the vessel one would settle on the impression of inboard power. Strapped to the back are triple 600-horse power Mercury Verado V12 outboards. These three engines are capable of an output of 1,800 horse power and because they are outboards, there is no need for a large hatch in the aft cockpit to be able to access the engines and other related equipment.
  3. This 14.35-meter vessel while has an interior by Paolo Giordano, you can find collaboration with Genesis Interiors for some of the fine detailing and material choice and execution as they are known for their millwork and details. Below deck the arrangement centers around a 2-cabin layout with a larger living/common space. Back on deck, very large bulwarks fold down to open-up the main deck space. Not only giving an extra sense of space but also clean, uninterrupted vistas while at anchor.
  4. Now that the 47-foot vessel is in the water, final commissioning works will get under way inclusive of sea trialing to ensure the vessel is in its prime form for delivery. One detail worthy of note is that the hull has actually been constructed from aluminium. Usually in this size bracket, most vessels are made from fiberglass or composite.
