  1. Can Yalman Design's 40MXP To Launch This Year

    Numarine has introduced the new 40MXP -a slight evolution of the popular 37XP model-. The MXP designation essentially refers to Mediterranean Explorer. It is 40-meters and Can Yalman still keeps the internal volume below the 500 GT threshold. The interior is also penned by Yalman who gives open-living areas. The idea is to have a long-distance cruising vessel with some of the explorer credentials while still possessing the common luxuries of a superyacht.
  2. When the first hull launches this year, it is expected to have cabins to sleep 12 guests. The master suite will be on the main deck while a VIP is situated on the lower deck to round-out the principal cabins onboard. Overall though, there will be 6 cabins for guests.
  3. The hull form optimized by Umberto Tagliavini is refined to offer efficient displacement speeds that help the 40MXP reach its 6,000 nautical mile range at 8-knots. One of the highlight differences between the 37XP and the 40MXP is seen on the aft, not only where the slight extra length is but also the dedicated beach club is gone on the 40MXP. This has been replaced by a full-width hydraulic swim platform. Of course with the extra length the new yacht gains larger aft decks and a glass-ended pool. The first hull is expected to be launched this year.
