With the lower deck walls, bulkheads and major machinery and cabinetry fitted it was time to seal it off with the addition of the superstructure on top. This has been done now and the first Nordhavn N41 is well on the way to keeping schedule to splash even by the end of this month according to the yard. The hull is finished paint with a distinct boot stripe.

The interior is also coming together with below being representative of the recent progress of one of the cabins, this one fitted in the bow on the lower deck. The V-berth is actually fairly spacious with step-around the berth of both sides. In addition, the two large rectangular windows add more natural light to the space, an appreciated touch with the chosen dark veneer work.

Even with the unprecedented situation facing the boating/yacht industries, many builders are still forging ahead with their various builds even if at reduced capacity. In the case of the first Nordhavn N41, the yard hopes to have this craft hit the water by the end of April. The end of major build works is coming into view for the new entry-level passagemaker but production must continue on the other eight or more N41 hulls that have been purchased.
