  1. "Crowned Eagle"; First FD92 To Launch
Horizon Yachts has now officially expanded the FD Line with the launching of the first unit in the FD92 model. The yacht is called "Crowned Eagle" and has already been engaged in sea trials in preparation for delivery to her new owner by October. The photos below show her going through the paces during sea trial operations. The yacht is expected to ship soon from Taiwan to the United States where it will be commissioned and delivered to the customer. The FD92 was birthed mainly because the owner wanted an FD87 but with an enclosed skylounge/bridge area but still having a flybridge with secondary helm station. This necessitated the extra length of the hull.
  2. Crowned Eagle features accommodation for ten guests easily in five cabins with a master suite in the forward main deck position and four cabins on the lower deck for the other eight guests. The exterior design of the yacht is by Cor d Rover while the interior has been done by the yard to the owner's specifications. The FD92 has a GT under 200 at approximately 187 GT offering decent space on a sub 100-foot platform.
  3. On this boat, Horizon Yachts managed to fit a six-person jacuzzi on the portside in-front of the wheelhouse. A sunpadded region is located further forward on the bow. On the aft deck there is al-fresco dining available for the ten guests. The 28.36-meter long vessels is powered by a pair of CAT C-32 ACERT engines each with around 1,900 horse power. The Horizon FD92 model lives on with a second hull presently in build with launching expected in early 2021.
