News: Feadship Launches 51M Hull 701

51-meter Ice Class Hull 701 Launches At Feadship

Dutch yard Feadship launched their next yacht in quick succession of the previous. The last superyacht launched was the 87-meter Hull 700 now called "LONIAN". Now they yard has towed the 51-meter -yet to be publicly named- hull 701 from its finishing shed. The design is is De Voogt Naval Architects and was built with an Ice class hull, a first for Feadship. The vessels exterior appearance is as if an explorer clashed with a cruising yacht.

The interior is by the Bannenberg & Rowell team and from what we have seen from this firm, the interior could easily be vibrant and filled with geometric patterns but that is nothing official from the yard. Her principle dimensions include LOA of 51.00-meters, beam measuring 10.80-meters and a draft of 3.35-meters. Power is via a pair of CAT marine diesels, the exact model isn't known at this stage. Top speed is suggested to be in the 14.5-knot region and dialed back to a continuous 10-knots hull 701 should see a 4,500 nautical mile range. Hopefully Feadship reveals more information about their first Ice Class luxury yacht.
