News: Feadship Delivers 58M "Najiba"

Dutch superyacht builder Feadship has delivered their first yacht of the new year. The 58-meter "Najiba" is the yacht with that distinction. Najiba was launched just after the new year turned and was quickly prepared for her sea trials. She left The Netherlands at the start of this weekend and according to her AIS she ended up in Bergen, Norway where she presently is up to press time.

Najiba's lengthy and gentle exterior design was penned by Philippe Briand while the sumptuous interior was by Christian Liaigre. Onboard you will find whitewashed elements playing a significant role. Accommodation is for at least twelve in four doubles for guests and two owner's suites for the owner. Under construction, this superyacht was known as hull 699.

The owners operated a few yachts before this one but they wanted to own and full-custom Feadship from the start and the delivery of Najiba is the manifestation of that dream. MCM represented the owners as the representative for this build and help them execute the dream. Performance of this new yacht allows for a top speed of 16-knots and economical cruising at 12-knots. She is 58-meters overall with a comfortable beam of 11.03-meters and a draft of 2.6-meters and was built in all aluminium. Next on the agenda for Feadship is to deliver the new "Lady S".
