New Facheris Design For Hargrave

Another yacht design in the 35-40-meter market has been added in the form of a new offering from Hargrave Yachts. The 36.5-meter takes its design from Facheris Design both on the exterior and interior. The design actually takes the model quite a bit out of the realm that we have grown accustomed to from this builder. In terms of construction, the vessel will see its design being fashioned from carbon-reinforced E-glass epoxy composite.

The design of the vessel as noted before is different and almost represents a departure from what Hargrave usually does. That maybe because Hargrave tended to in-house their designs and Facheris Design is Italian. It is still a raised pilothouse design though. On the inside, she will have room to sleep up to 12 guests and up to 7 crew members.

With a minimum displacement of around 130 tonnes, the new vessel will be nimble thanks to her powerplant setup. She will also have a draft in the region of 1.90-meters affording her to access near-shore coves and bays. The beam is also a fairly comfortable 7.6-meters. In terms of performance she has a pair of 1,900 horse power CAT C32 diesels. These powerful set will be able to get her up to 21.5-knots when she needs to sprint but also give her a range of 945nautical miles at cruising speeds.
