Fourth DL26 Launches At DL Yachts

The fourth hull in the DL26 line has been launched from the Italian facilities at DL Yachts. There is a name available already and she will be christened as "Akira". The yacht splashed last month and has been keeping yard personnel busy preparing her for delivery to the client. Not surprisingly, both the exterior and interior was done by Team4Design with Naval Architecture by Arrabito.

Inside, Akira sleeps her guests in four cabins. There is a master suite forward on the main deck while the lower deck is home to a VIP-grade suite and two other guest cabins. Room for up to three crew is also available. DL Yachts are more performance oriented and have a high top-end speed. Akira should max at around 27-knots thanks to twin 1,800 horse power MAN diesel engines. Don't expect to go very far with her though as to cross the 1,000 nautical mile range she has to be sailed at a continuous 10-knots.
