34-meter "Vagabond" Launches At Delta Marine

Delta Marine has launched their latest vessel a 33.5-meter called "Vagabond". The new vessel is for a client who wants to comfortably cruise in the area of San Juan Islands, British Columbia and Alaska. The client hails from the Pacific Northwest region and to establish the owner's wishes, the build spawned a new hull platform for the yard. One that features forms that optimize the best of both worlds -range and speed-. The vessel, known to the yard as the Delta 110 has a four cabin layout for up to 10 guests. All guest cabins are on the lower deck and the master suite is full-beam. The VIP is towards the bow and the other rooms are convertible guest cabins. Onboard, the maximum beam is 7.3-meters offering comfortable living areas. The yacht is coming with bar, formal areas, al-fresco areas for the guests to enjoy.

One of the unique owner requests was for the tender. The client wanted a custom aluminium tender and this will be supported via a 5,000 kg davit system. Construction for this new vessel was estimated to have commenced in 2022 and launching in the 2nd quarter of 2025. Despite not hearing alot from Delta Marine, the yard keeps relatively busy. Vagabond will not be the last launch from them as they have a couple yachts in different stages of build inclusive of a 47.6-meter.

"We've experienced increasing demand for a fully custom option in the 33- to 38-meter size range," explained Michelle Jones, vice president at Delta Marine. "As most of the yachts in this size are production builds, we were thrilled to work with experienced owners on their unique vision."
