  1. 7 Most Expensive Yachts at 2025 Monaco Yacht Show
The organizers of the Monaco Yacht Show recently released the exhibitor list for this years show. Now we can delve into some of the yachts patrons will expect to see at the show. Monaco Yacht Show typically attracts some of the largest superyachts in the world that are for sale. For the purpose of this article we will look at 7 of the most expensive offerings pegged to be on display -at the time of publishing-.
  2. At the time of writing, the largest yacht anticipated to be at this year's show is the brand new 119-meter Feadship "Breakthrough" ( known as hull 821). She is one of the largest superyachts around from this builder but she has the distinction of being the first fuel-cell-powered superyacht. Up to 30 guests can call this yacht home during their stay in the 12 available suites. According to RWD, she is designed to have the feel of a "secluded, four-level townhouse by the sea". Some cool features and amenities aboard include an 8.2-meter pool with contra-flow feature, a touch-and-go helipad on the bow that is also the multi-disciplinary sports court onboard. Breakthrough is also known for the Feadship with the most hull doors and openings built to date. There is a Neptune Lounge onboard as well as all the regular facilities any large yacht has. Pricing is not available, price on application.
  3. While there are larger yachts than the Amels "Energy" at the coming show, her asking price is perhaps what propels her high in this year's list. Energy is packing big energy asking potential customers €199,000,000. As a reminder, Energy was built by Amels and delivered in 2022 and the 2,885 GT vessel has only seen private ownership since then. The yacht is a result of Espen Oeino on the exterior and Francois Zuretti on the interior. 14 guests can be accommodated onboard and there are a myriad of amenities for guests and owner alike such as a hammam, bars, beach club and beauty salon.
  4. The 85-meter Lurssen "Gigia" (ex. "Amatasia"; "Areti") is also for sale asking €169,000,000. Built in 2017 to Winch Design the superyacht has been kept in good condition since new. She is a yacht that adheres to the Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) so she carries 20 guests in 10 suites unlike the 12 guests you might expect. She has all the usual superyacht trappings and special emphasis on her wellness areas. Here you can find a beauty saloon, ice plunge pool, sauna, steam room, massage and treatment facilities.
  5. "Maximus" by Vitters is the first large sailing yacht on the list and she is asking €79,500,000 since coming on to the market a few months ago. The near 60-meter sailing yacht has guest accommodation for 10 in 4 cabins. German Frers is responsible for the design and on the interior that has been finished by Spencer-Churchill Designs Ltd. The all-aluminium build previously known as hull 3090 was completed and delivered in 2023. She has been one of the larger yachts from this yard but the builder currently has at least 3 yachts all above 60-meters in build.
  6. "Stella Mi" is one of the Amels 200 (60-meter) units and she is now available for purchase and will be at the 2025 MYS. Asking €71,500,000 currently the yacht was completed back in 2021. She is IMO Tier III-compliant with a diesel propulsion system. On the interior she has a 1,015 GT interior volume with interiors by Reymond Langton and exteriors by Tim Heywood. Guest accommodation is in 6 cabins for 12 guests.
  7. "Wedge Too" has been in this list before at previous MYS showings. The 65-meter Feadship completed back in 2002 has design by Philippe Starck. €49,500,000 is what she is currently asking and she will be at the show. This yacht despite being built in 2002 and is a modern classic in the industry's eyes, has generally been used lightly in her private capacity. Never known to be a charter yacht she enjoys keep her private guests private.
  8. The 62-meter "Simena" is a brand new yacht that recently launched by the ARES yard. She will be completed in time to be viewed at MYS this year and is available for €45,900,000. Her design is by Taka Yacht Design with an interior by Design Unlimited. There will be a 6 cabin layout for up to 12 guests. Her traditional looks are set to turn heads with high-gloss Mahogany finishes on the exterior to prized materials like leathers, brass and marbles on the interior.
