  1. The 132 Explorer By Cheoy Lee Yachts
Cheoy Lee is normally known for mid-range yachts and after having established CL Yachts as their re-imagined brand, many may have forgotten the company is a very competent explorer style builder. One of the designs they have on offer is a 132 explorer, not only beautiful design to look at but on-paper a very capable yacht. She can run Trans-Atlantic on a single tank of fuel at 10-knots and her range is approximated to be 4,000 nautical miles. Top speed is only 13-knots thanks to a pair of 750bhp Cummins QSK19 IMO III diesels with ZF drives, this vessel is more about lower consumption to raise efficiency and independence.
  2. The 132 explorer draws on Cheoy Lee's more than 100 years of shipbuilding experience. Whether you are transiting the Pacific or island-hopping in The Bahamas, she has space for all your toys, gear and provisions – and the rugged reliability to get you there and safely home again. It is a four deck design with an aft superstructure arrangement. This leaves a spacious foredeck for storage of the tenders and toys. With a dedicated crane, tender movements on and off the yacht are straightforward.
  3. Seven (7) crew along with up to ten (10) guests can be accommodated onboard. Beneath her sea-hardened exterior is a wholly bespoke, five-stateroom interior with full-beam master suite positioned to give you ultimate comfort in a seaway. The lower tank deck and crew stairs allow crew to transit the yacht without entering guest spaces, ensuring your privacy.
  4. Special features onboard include a hot tub on the aft sun deck/flybridge (there is a secondary helm position here). A bar and al-fresco dining is also envisioned in the space. With the tender stored on the fore deck there is even space for a smaller beach club on the aft lower deck which is supported by a large swim platform. The bridge deck is home to the wheelhouse forward as well as the skylounge aft. The main deck has the yacht's galley to the fore but portside of the centerline. A formal dining room is midships with the saloon space aft. Outside is another al-fresco space with large table to seat all the yacht's guests at once. All guest cabins are located on the lower deck with a full beam master suite, and a mix between doubles and twins with pullmans.
  5. "What really defines the Cheoy Lee Explorer series is what they are capable of doing. Built to full class standards – Lloyd’s, RMI Yacht Code or the equivalent – they are true world-cruising yachts", Jon Overing, Yacht Designer. Naval Architecture and exterior design are the work of Jon Overing while the interior is Sylvia Bolton.
