  1. First Acciaio 123 Launched By CdM Yachts
The first Acciaio 123 has been launched by Cantiere delle Marche (CdM). You may remember a yacht built by this same yard called "Gatto" with a blue hull that looks very similar to this current new launch. Well, the two belong to the same series called the Acciaio Explorer line. Gatto is a bit smaller, at 105-feet (32-meters) and was the first overall in the Acciaio series of yachts. The Acciaio 123 (37.35-meters) is the second overall but first in this larger model.
  2. The design of the Acciaio 123 is by Hydro Tec and features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The interior on the other hand is the work of a collaboration with the owner and the in-house team at CdM. On board you will find an open-plan layout and accommodation that sleeps up to twelve guests in five cabins. one of those cabins naturally has a pullman to make up for the extra berth. As you would expect, the master suite is located on the forward end of the main deck with a full-beam span while the guest cabins are on the lower deck. Up to seven crew can be accommodated onboard.
  3. Remember the Acciaio range of yachts are meant to be explorer/roaming vessels. That typically means efficient consumption of fuel to extend its autonomy. For example, the 123 can run for approximately 5,500 nautical miles at a sedate 10-knots while her top-end is just 13-knots using CAT diesel power. The Acciaio 123 is easily distinguishable from the 105 model with her grey hull while Gatto sports a vibrant blue hull.
