News: Cayman Yachts Launch Flagship Cayman F920

Italian builder Cayman Yachts returned to full production a couple years ago and they were working on their flagship yacht, the F920, F designation denoting the Flying Bridge area of the yacht. As the company is looking towards the future, the F920 is a great model to launch and it defines their push to establish a new range of yachts. The F920 takes Naval Architecture from Ferragni Progetti and interior styling from Isabelle Blanchere.

The design is pleasing to the eye but it also looks familiar. When we say familiar, it looks similar to the designs coming out from other Italian yards building in that size bracket. The construction was done with a sandwich laminate that was reinforced with carbon for extra strength. Onboard, the F920 is expected to have accommodation for as many as twelve but only having a five cabin layout. This suggests pullman berths exists in one of the cabins. For power, there are a pair of MTU marine diesels rated at around 2,600 horsepower each. The F920 is set to world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival next month.
