  1. Gladiator 822 Adds To Canados Range
Italian builder Canados is adding to its range offering with the new Gladiator 822. As the number in the model name suggests, the vessel will be in the 24.99-meter (or 82-foot) bracket. The design of this sleek beast is by Marco Casali with sloping and sweeping lines, she doesn't have to be moving to look fast. Speaking of fast, the Gladiator is exactly that! Canados is offering four engine packages for this beast.
  2. One would imagine that most owners would choose an option closer to normal which would be the pair of MAN V12 which has 1,550 horsepower a side. You would be cruising at 30-knots comfortably with this setup for over 350 nautical miles. Should you require more power and speed then you could step up to triple MAN V12 1,900 horse power plants. That would get you a blistering 44-knot top speed and reduced range! For those who are crazy about all-out performance, Canados is offering a kevlar and carbon hull to further reduce weight to help the powerplants provide a mind-blowing 60-knot speed. Will your cocktail stay on the table?
  3. Onboard, the Gladiator is expected to host and sleep eight guests. Like the engine configurations, there are options for accommodation too. A full-beam master suite along with three guest cabins will be the more standard layout but a number of three-cabin variants are being offered and even they will allow you to completely do it bespoke -within reason-. Deck areas are divided between the real-estate on the bow and the more cosy seclusion of the aft cockpit. Access to the bow will be via the side decks or through the main saloon and through a door in the windshield.
