  1. Build Progress On Burger Boat 48 Cruiser

Burger Boat is currently working not one, but two 48 Cruiser vessels with build numbers 511 and 512. The yachts are being built in aluminum for lightweight displacement that will aid her Volvo Penta D8 IPS 800 engines in meeting performance objectives. Top speed is anticipated to be around 35-knots using these 600 horsepower units, that is 1,200 horse power below deck on a sub-50-footer.
  2. The design is a collaborative effort by Burger Boat along with USA-based Luiz DeBasto. The onboard plan is for two decks with a two-cabin arrangement on the lower deck and an open-plan on the main deck as depicted in the following photo. The salon is decorated in light pastels and surrounded by glazing on the sides and above in the ceiling.
  3. Construction is moving apace on the vessels. The first is expected to be handed over early in 2018 according to Burger Boat. According to Jim Ruffolo, Burger's President & CEO, "smaller yachts provide a new generation of yacht owners the opportunity to experience the joy of owning a new custom Burger. Is also provides these owners the opportunity to be a part of the exclusive Burger family."
