News: Build Update On Rosetti 38 XP

In May, 2019 YF alerted you to the construction of a Rosetti 38-meter Explorer-type yacht. Construction has continued along and it is time for an update with some interior renderings. Back then the keel was laid with the coin being welded into a section of the keel. Since then the hull has progressed and is nearing completion. The superstructure is expected to be joined to the hull in February, 2020.

Earlier in the year the update was much to do with the keel laying but with the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in September, more details emerged about the yacht and its interiors. Below we glimpse the interior concept for this yacht. The master cabin is full-beam and located on the forward main deck. The owner will be living large and comfortably in this space. There are to be his and hers bathrooms too with large walk-in wardrobe/closet. There is also a built-in balcony, these days balconies are flush-fitting but jettison from the hull when activated. The owners did not want this complicated system and opted for a simple built-in, no maintenance. Four other cabins are situated on the lower deck for guest use.

Below we can see the main saloon area and the highlight of the space is perhaps this 150-bottle wine-room. Also you notice the colour and tonal palette, light, comfortable but sophisticated within the contemporary spectrum. The wine-room also serves to separate the saloon area from the private area of the master suite, a good buffer zone.

The Rosetti 38 XP is fitted with dual MAN D2868 LE 425 engines. These won't give the 38-meter an express pace, but they will provide a top speed of 13-knots and cruise at 10-knots while offering more range at conservative fuel-consuming speeds. There is also going to be a small beach club in the traditional tender area. The tender will now be perched on the aft upper deck. Delivery is anticipated towards the middle of 2021.
