Towards the end of 2019 YF updated you on the progress of the Rosetti 38XP. It is time for another update to see how far along the project is. In late November 2019 the hull was nearing completion but the superstructure was not yet joined to the hull, that was done in early 2020. Workers at the yard in Ravenna, Italy have completed the main exterior areas of the yacht and are focusing on completing piping, electrics and major welding jobs. The Rosetti 38XP is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2021.

The interior is by Burdisso Capponi Yachts & Design and the master cabin is one of the focus points to the interior because of its large and full-beam luxurious appointments throughout. The below rendering gives you an idea of the space on offer with the master bathroom being as large as some cabins onboard smaller yachts. Rosetti is also proposing a version-B of the master suite which would feature a fixed private balcony for the owner to utilize. It appears the owners went for Version B. As for other accommodation onboard there are four guest suites on the lower deck which are likely to sleep as many as eight persons.

The following photo shows the state of the aluminium work on the superstructure which according to the build timeline was joined to the hull in February 2020. With the yacht expected to be delivered to the owner by May 2021, the race is on to have the interior plumbing, electrical and other welding jobs near completion so the joinery and cabinetry fit-out can get underway fully. Power is by a pair of MAN D2868 LE 425 engines and top speed is set at 13-knots according to the yard. Autonomy at 10-knots is 5,000 nautical miles.
